Waterjet SUPREMA & EVOLUTION

The DX and X5 series Waterjets have a new independent frame and work tank design. The Gantry Style Movement System travels the extra rigid box constructed X-axis Bridge on a set of LM guides supported by a frame constructed from 20 I-beam material. The Y-axis is driven by dual Mitsubishi Brushless AC Servo Motors and high-pitch 40mm double anchored ball screws for unmatched positioning accuracy, ±0.002. This new design provides the industries fastest rapid positioning and cutting speed of up to 787/min. All drive components, LM guides and ball screws are maintained by an Auto-Lubrication System and kept clean by a double bellows way cover system keeping shop dust, dirt and Waterjet splash completely away from the drive components thus reducing maintenance time and extending machine life.
The DX series comes standard with out I.T.C. 4-Axis Intelligent Taper Control which provides full 360º taper control by adding a one or two degree mechanical tilt to the cutting head, compensating for the jet getting wider as it exits the focus tube. This provides improved part straightness of ±0.001 per ½ of workpiece thickness. The software automatically generates the ITC program by just one click.
The new X5 series is now designed with an extended tilt angle now ±90 degrees and a full 360 degree rotation capability providing a wider application range of full 5-axis cutting capabilities.
Both the DX and X5 series have the ability to add an optional CNC Rotary Unit / Lathe capability for cutting tubes from 2 to 12 inches in diameter and up to 60 inches long.
Several pump sizes are available from 60,000 to 90,000 PSI and from 50 HP to 125HP depending on your job requirements. The DX is also capable of adding a second ITC cutting head that when coupled with the right pump will double your work out put.
