I played this piece in sixth grade, and it's a fun little piece. I would recommend ripple roll, it sound soo much better. It's also a bit fast, but the notes are dead on. All in all, nice playing
-
Ya it's a bit fast. Try using the ripple roll if possible.

When I perform this one I play the first "wave part" much slower than you do. It sounds like you're trying to hurry through that part, try to put in some more feeling and dynamics to it. Make a bigger wave-effect of it, don't just hurry through it. Otherwise I think you're doing very good. A bit more dynamics in the other parts as well :)
Good job.

After I posted the clip, I indeed tried the "wave" part at a slower pace and it turned out quite well.

are you using the stevens grip? i'm using the traditional grip and it poses a problem with the spacing with the E and C, D, etc.

Yup, I'm using the Stevens Grip.
