Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the lord. What happened to those hymns or songs like that? I don't hear many of these hymns anymore and thats unfortunate.

This is deep stuff... he's talking about how he might die soon and he wants his people to be ready to continue the journey without him, and that he doesn't fear what's coming.
He was killed the day after this.
