Incoming!! Whether it's throwing smoke bombs, speeding through treacherous waters, or dodging grenades --
The Sea Shepherd crew will stop at nothing to save thousands of whales from death at the hands of Japanese Whalers.
How far will they go to save a species? Whale Wars, this fall only on Animal Planet.

  • Genuine scientific entities have contacted the japanese and submitted low-cost viable alternative methods for gaining the knowledge ICR whalers are claiming they seek in this "research whaling campaign". Alternatives that would leave the Whales alive AND subsequently create a peace that would end the entire Sea Shepherd activism in the Southern Ocean.

    But the whalers declined it.

    Why?

  • In ancient Greece killing a Dolphin was the same crime as killing a human being.

In ancient Greece they believed that nothing more divine than a dolphin has ever been created on mother earth. It was believed that dolphins once have been people who lived together with mortals in cities...

  • @info145 Stop complaining and get out your guns. The nips can be stopped cold

  • Sorry to say this but we kill the whales for oil so get use to it.

  • @gunnars12

Problem... Man doesn't learn from history. Climate changes combined with man's overhunting is what made the mammoth extinct. Large animals just don't populate quickly enough to compensate. The Whales are facing the same situation, but with an added bane. Our world's oceans are being polluted. Mercury is becoming a big issue. So all this added up almost guarantees extinction of the Whales!

  • @info145 Except most of the world does not need whale meat, unlike some countries.

  • Go Watson hunt the Whalers into extinction

  • Whales belong to the world, not just to two or three countries out of the 195 in the world.

We, the majority, want them to live! In peace...
