I am glad it was deleted. Its pretty bad. A disco like intro is dated. The opening theme that fans are used to seeing is timeless and gets me pumped up to watch the show.

This theme was deleted when the pilot made-for-TV-movies were cut into 2 parts and incorporated into the series and syndicated, where they were tagged with the series first season opening.
