Well you would think that the "killing claw" on the raptors foot would be held up to avoid it from being damaged or from becoming dull. Other than that awesome work!
@GoldenSquad Actually, there is a lot of evidence to support that "raptors" had feathers, including feathers on their closest kin (Microraptor, etc) and quill knobs on the forearms of Velociraptor. As for their hands, many times fossiles will be found articulated, that is, found in the same position as they were when the animal dies. Failing that, one knowledgeable in anatomy can often tell how it goes together by examining the joints and surfaces.
Some scientists consider Deinonychus to be in the same subfamily as Velociraptor: Velociraptoridae. Others have them in separate subfamilies. The movie was "half-right." In the novel version, Grant mentioned this belief and called Deinonychus "Velociraptor." The actual species, V. mongoliensis, was about the size and weight of a Great Dane.
@Aknight292 I think they called it velociraptor in the movie casue thats whats in the book lol. But yeah velociraptor was quite small, then again size isnt everything, the main idea is that velociraptor is smart and quick.
