Todays "Metalcore" didn't exist in 1987, neither did Crossover Thrash. After some years they created a new genre Named "Crossover Thrash" just because of the album "Crossover". A slight mix of Hardcore Punk And Metal. It's a crossover but it could be called Metalcore instead. If so, the new metalcore bands would have another name on their genre. Anyways, D.R.I. are gods.

This song changed my life. I cannot listen to it today without ripping a patch of hair from my skull and punching the nearest furnishing. DRI will forever reign as the ORIGINAL purveryor of hardcore/metal and/or "Crossover." Long live thrash.
