I know I'm about half a year late to the party, but you got one of the three most useful secrets in the game (in my opinion). You got the Big Ben (so fun to shoot), but there's a zone in the west of the garbage, past the autopark, where there are two 'Soul' and a few 'Flesh Chunk' artifacts... most useful thing ever in the beginning. You don't really even need medicine with those. Also, in the wilderness, there's a REALLY radioactive building near the train station. Inside it theres a SEVA suit.
