It's called leadership. Nancy Skinner, Democratic candidate in Michigan's 9th CD, is in a dead heat race with incumbent Congressman Joe Knollenberg, who has been hostile on global warming. He is an "Inconvenient Congressman," and he is about to be upset by a challenger who has spent her career as a passionate advocate for progress on global warming. That leadership will help our economy rebound and create new jobs!

She lost by a slim margin to the Knollenberg rascal. I wish her well and a resounding comeback. The good news is that the other 8 out of 9 congress people that the League of conservation voters campaigned for won. Look out Bush and Knollenberg!
