why do you guys think a demo would sound so shitty (I am referring to the recording quality), like the very first one?

You can record a guitar with a mobile phone recorder, and it still won't sound that shitty. And considering that this is a real band, that has a studio and thousands of dollars to spend on gear, they won't record the demos trough a broken modified transistor radio...
