India, with its rich and long history, is full of mysteries. Perhaps none is as puzzling as what happened hundreds of years ago at a royal city in Rajasthan, now under excavation. VOA Correspondent Steve Herman went to look and has this report from the ghost town of Bhangarh.

  • i have visited that place at night between 12 to 1 am i didn't listen any voice or significance of ghost there is nothing like ghost ...so go at night nd enjoy the trip...thanx

  • its not like a frankenstein will come in front of you if you visit places like these ..but i wont lie ..there can be something in these haunted places as ive also experianced very scary things in one old 'kothi i visited with my mate...well u'll most likely see a slight shadows of some ghost who died in a tragic accident or a murder. but id recommand to not go in these haunted castles/ buildings people talk about!

  • i have been to bhangarh last year, there is nothing such as scary, this is very beautiful place to be visited once. And what dangerous is that here is a vast forest with dangerous animals and that's why entering the town in dark is not allowed.

  • Never seen a Backwordness of this scale from any government in 2011 which prohibits visitors because of ghostly stories between sunset sunrise.

  • I believe in leprechaun

  • @anshumanchaube95 no i didnt because i dont speak or understand Hindi.

  • great.. now i rly wanna go ther at night

  • very true report..this is really a scary place ...not in terms of stories but definately regarding architecture..this place is exactly between two large mountains which is welcome place for animals ...night life here is quite away from croewd as no one allowed to go inside after sunset...ppl who love adventure must visit here...be ware at least 7 to 8ppl must go together..dun try in 3 or 4..just an advice in case...
