Music is in its best when it is classical . combo with folk is a bang on . i don`t really know what raga it is i guess its khamaj and a mix of tilak kamod .. i might be wrong correct me if i am wrong .. what ever i just loved the composition by Sandesh Shandilya, who has given us songs like Suraj Hua Maddham . good work listening to it are moments of sheer pleasure.

Ustadji sings well , no question - this particular performance doesnt 'work' so well in my opinion. Something's missing and he's clearly not satisfied.
He could've converted it to a full-on classical style piece, and slowed down the tempo like a thumri and it would've been brilliant .

hey himu (sherlock) you just dont get it. i am not saying anything bad about ustad G. i am saying it's sad that the ppl are requesting him to sing film songs, where he is a classical vocalist. people like yourself who is fading away from calssical music. if you got me, then that is fine and if you dont get it, please dont respond to this. keep it to yourself...holmes
