The boys who met by chance in early 1976 managed to reach the vinyl stage by 1977 with their 7" "backs to the wall" adorned by the rather blackmail friendly cover of them in cabaret attire -- while awfully young -- facing the wall ! Stylish !!! Well all shite aside the boys Liverpoodle boys worked long and hard and gigged and gigged and gigged some more and after releasing singles through Alien and City labels were picked up by the influential RCA label, and relocated to London where they wasted little time laying down the tracks for their debut album which emerged in 1982. It was a really decent STATUS QUOish -- affair, no-nonsense boogie influenced NWOBHM, and spawned 2 singles "Rock n Roll Forever will last" and "Talking about Rock n Roll" which was already familiar to fans through their Creole released single, just before they signed with RCA as well as a further two "Why 'd ya lie to me" and "Part of the legend" that were released in support of the band's European tour with UFO the following year. Apart from these songs "Did ya like it baby ?" and "What you're doing to me" seemed to do the trick, although there would still be the odd off-kilter track like the rather melodic and emo-tional "'til I m certain" to show that there was yet another side to the band than their formulaic boogie rock.
