If I were to make the same charge against the Qur’an, yet say I have no evidence, I "JUST KNOW" you call me ignorant! @pletal cont'd. James 4:1 tells us the root of all war, strife etc "From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your LUSTS that war in your members?" Thirst for power, love of money, selfishness, envy etc are all the causes of all the problems we see on this planet. So Jesus stating that these things WILL CONTINUE, is a blow to the pride of man, who REALLY BELIEVES he can better himself and make peace on the earth WITHOUT JESUS, with His Word, the bible.

The EU, the Ecumenical Movement, and other interfaith iniitiatives, are uniting together plus governmental bodies are ALL SEEKING TO WORK together for PEACE on this earth. Yet, these words of Christ strike at that EVER HAPPENING, why? Because there can BE NO TRUE PEACE on earth between us, until we individually make PEACE with God. There's no peace because of sin, its sin of individuals, hate, etc that is destroying this earth.
