so you can decide who messed up, i'm so messed up now
i guess you've won, fantastic, no need to be drastic
but the last time that we played this game, i got my ass kicked
What did it feel like, to disappear like,
you were never even here like You were in and out of here
just a dash between two years that should have lasted two more years
or maybe more, atleast 10 more before you passed away this year
Did you even notice, I didn't think so, not a surprise you didn't blink so
we were on the brink, so at our peak, its kinda good you didn't keep though.
Twice I turned my back, I was so twice as good at that
Then ever trying to get to know you, i was never right because of that
And in spite of all of that, you still took care of all of that
you would sttill be fair in fact, and let any damage there just pass
So many questions left unasked that it's much better as we act
to not regret the past, but remember all of that which lasts
and let it last, we'll make it past.


I'm trying to escape this and make this my disappearing act
and leave this for professionals be happy with where i'm at
Because with age comes the wisdom, but a whole lotta doubt
and with growth comes the with thems, but a whole lot withouts
and a whole lot of chances that you probably should've took
regretting every single moment that you probably overlooked,
I will stop that way of thinking and I will take my time
cuz this time, every hand shake smarter, every step be fine.
I'm getting older and i hate it with every year i'm feeling jaded
Self entitled in a generation that's been just created
and the only motivation is the hope of getting faded and
floating from up above my body, above it all I've finally made it
Or so I just say it, but it's not, I'll work harder til i'm not
Just another selfish asshole kissing ass quite a lot
There will be a good amount of sacrifice, for that i'm quite prepared
To be fair though, i am scared though for the future isn't fair
So i'll be working that much harder to ensure we're taken care, of
To make sure they're taken care of.....
Because that's who you took care of....
