Prank "Baba Booey" Call to Peter Jennings

In the moments after the O. J. Simpson "chase". There's a detailed write-up about this call in Howard Stern's book, "Miss America" on page 473. Call was made by "Maury from Brooklyn".
I taped almost the entire "chase". I was watching McLaughlin Group that night, and just got curious about the NBA finals. Switched to NBC to find the split screen between game and OJ. Then to ABC. I figured 20/20 was coming on and it's a news show of sorts. I made sure the VCR was rolling just in case Something Happened. After I heard this call, I wasn't disappointed. After that, I couldn't care less what happened to The Juice. LOL.

@MrMeeps111 it was a totally farcical call...lest you think that that were truly someone who were on the ground..he, uh, said something in code there at the end, that is indicative of a certain..radio talk show host.

" and I would be scared, cuz there's cops all deep in this" I remember watching this live. I thought i was gonna have a stroke or something. I was laughing so friggin hard. All the tension building up during the chase, then "Robert Higgins" shows up and takes a dump on Peter Jennings! Just classic!!!

It's like Jennings was on the verge of playing it off and moving on with the coverage, then in comes Michaels chiming in and bringing it back to light again. Jennings was finally like "okay, thanks, Al, you can shut up now." You could tell he was trying to hide the embarrassment. One of the great crank calls in history.
