  • The issue of construction I found interesting. I'd like to know what the building material was precisely, but that is interesting.

I have an issue though with the 2nd part of what he said. The issue was Africa having a writing system of its own, and those writings seem to have been entirely Arabic, which is not an African writing system, but a Middle Eastern one.

  • @Robertz1986

Diodorus Siculus believed that the Egyptian writing was inspired from that of Ethiopia (Nubian?)

Abyssinia had a great deal of influence on Araiba

  • If you don't mind, I'd like to include this video in my playlist I'm doing on National Geographic's Genographic study of peoples of the world. If you do mind, I'll remove it from my playlist. Excellent work!

  • thats fine

  • I'm getting the book!

  • Looks like a perfect Christmas gift :)

  • @markellion Becareful when you say "ethiopia". Abyssinia does not equal ancient Ethiopia. Abyssinia took that name in 1975. Before that time it was applied to the whole of Africa. It just means Negro in Greek. If you find old maps of Africa dating to about 1700 or so, even some from the 1800s and early 1900s you will see Ethiopia for the whole of Africa. In Herodotos' book The Histories, he called a number of people ethiopian. Namely the people of Mesopotamia, part of the persian army etc.

  • @Robertz1986 Ancient Africans had their own writing system, which have no connection to Arabic. However europeans and most non africans will never know about them because they are connected to the Secret Societies in Africa. You should look into them. Look into systems like Porro, Ogboni etc.

  • @TheDreadhead85 i would guess the rise of the islamic religion had somthing to do with the migration of arabs to north africa

  • Africa is the cradle of humanity, civilization, philosophy, physical sciences, commerce, metarlurgy, agriculture... Pretty much all the core recipes of civility.

The greatest mistake the war mongering crusaders made was assuming that if they attempted to get rid of the evidence of black African history then they'll be free to create it themselves. This assumption was admitedly witty but more importantly was always doomed for failure.

  • @Robertz1986 no the middle east is apart of africa. but arabs in fact are from asia. proof if u ever her a person speak hebrew u would know thats a africa tonge. arabs would b in africa if alex the great wouldnt have took over egypt in i think 300 bc. more proof how can africa be 90% black but egypt is arab nation lol. dnt that sound weird. why they dont claimin others great nations in africa.

  • @TheDreadhead85

The Middle East is technically in Asia, though parts of the Arab world are in North Africa, however Arabic writing originates in the area between the northern part of the Arabian Peninsula and Anatolia, between Iraq and Palestine. The Arabs are not native to North Africa, and historically the Egyptians (who were not originally Arabs) blocked any Arab advance west.

  • @Robertz1986 a middle east writing system is a african writting system. if u look at a map the middle east is africa. the arabs are from indina in south asia. they took over the middle east in earlies BC. thought war over years.
