Casting Crowns - Until the Whole World Hears (Drum Cover)

Another song for you, hopefully the lyrics strike a chord in your heart like they do in mine. We are the means by which the world will experience the grace God has for us through His Son.

I only played through the song a handful of times so again, apologies for the unpreparedness. Perhaps you'll notice that I had to cut & paste a section because I didn't have time to do another take before tearing down the setup. Hopefully it helps to give you another drummers perspective on the song.

That is awesome! It's my favorite song. I don't think you need to worry about what others are saying. I've learned by playing drums that you dominantly go by your feeling. If you can be creative do it and you don't have to be a perfect copycat except for learning purposes. I just uploaded my first drum cover, Gimme Shelter. I also have 13 singing videos. I don't have any promotion at present. I'm sure you do. Do you receive gigs as a result of it? Need advice. Thank you.

@dianalynnhoward Thank you for your kind words of encouragement! I actually drum for recreation and haven't really played many gigs outside of ministries I'm involved with. I do have a friend that has received multiple gigs as a result of his drum videos posted on YouTube. Perhaps one day you and I will too =)

@CalebRHindt I use Pro Mark Millennium II Jazz Sticks, Japanese Oak. I like them because they are like 7As but slightly longer than usual. For live playing I'll use 5A sticks

Awesome job but bro the Chorus ( the most powerful part of the song) is played on the Bell, this is just a tip for when you practice.

Thank you for your response. I'm just curious to know if you or your friend are paying for any extra promotion or not. Right now I am in awe of just how many views I have gotten so far on my first drum cover. It's only been up for about 1 week. I plan on working up some Casting Crowns and MercyMe soon.
