  • You posted this as a responce to "The Truth About AK-47 Firepower." The point of that video was to show how much more power normal American hunting cartridges have than the AK-47. Example the AK-47 shoots 7.62x39mm, and one of the most popular deer cartridges, the .30-06 measure in metric is 7.62x63mm.

    A whole 24mm longer!

  • @departed402

The video response for only one message: "need compare similar ammo"

    No more.

  • bullet for AK-74 better(more powered) than for M16

Just look this video, don't hearing, just look.

  • @emutant01 This isn't even the same AK round as in the video you are responding to. The one in this video is smaller in diameter than a .22LR

  • @djmillie1 They are using the 62 grain M855 NATO 5.56, check out the torch mark on the neck at 1:47. They do that to ensure proper seal of the projectile to the casing, sign of quality 5.56 NATO. They don' t do that to .223 ammo because of the thinner casing making it easier to crimp at the neck. 7N6 round does outperform in terms of hydro-static shock effect.

  • @djmillie1 It does show u a little bit! The AK uses a standard 7N6 round (yes, steel core) and I don't know the round used in M16A1. Steal core or led core has no effect on wood plates or ballistic gel, because these are too soft. 5.56 was made a lil unstable to incure heavier wounds(that was the first conception), but it goes crazy in the jungle if the bullet isn't heavy enough. 5.45 bullet is actually longer than 5.56 and is engineered to be more stable.

  • first of all, this video doesn't tell you what kind of ammo is being used, like what bullet weight and design. if they're using M193 in the AR it is a 55gr copper jacketed round with a lead core. That commie surplus crap is probably steel core, giving it better penetration characteristics. Let's see some apples to apples here.

  • Mmm caned bullets...

  • say what? i would love to hear this in English

  • say what?
