Mess Of Me - Switchfoot (Tape)

This is a video I made back in October of 2009. It was around the time that Switchfoot had just released Mess Of Me and Hello Hurricane was on its way. It had taken me three days to make and I had uploaded it to this account only for it to get deleted because of copyright infringement. Because I have had problems with copyright before I thought my profile was just on 'watch' and that's why it got deleted so quick. I then made another account called TheMisterBellic and uploaded the same video, only to get that one muted as well the second I uploaded it. Well, today (Jan 2, 2010) I checked my Gmail only to see a comment had been posted on this video on TheMisterBellic's account. So, thanks to user Heizman for showing me that the video had been unmuted and I have permission to show the video. Enjoy! Please pass it along!!!!

A video I made for Switchfoot's new single 'Mess Of Me' off their new album 'Hello Hurricane!'. Took me about three and a half hours to make, with a total of 380+ pictures. There is a good little few of mistakes, but hey, this is my first video of the sort and I am very happy with the outcome. I'm really hoping that this video gets as much attention as I put into it, so pass it along if you want. :D I had always had the idea of making a video with the lyrics being stacked up onto each other with tape, I don't really know why, but I've always liked the idea. I had spent quite a while over the past month trying to find the perfect song and I came across 'Mess Of Me'. I immediately knew this was the song. I like this song with this type of video because I think it works really well with the song. I hope you enjoy it because I spent quite a bit of time on this project. Please pass it along!

I LOVE the tape idea. I used to watch it alot then couldn't find it, then found it but the picture wouldn't show. I thought it was just me, but maybe not. GREAT JOB!! Very clever: )
