  • "They're really embarrassed about christianity" So they fucking should be. If i lived in a country where 80% of the population had an imaginary friend I'd be embarrassed too

  • This would be like a gay person fighting against gay acceptance movements to protect the feelings of the poor, oppressed straight majority. This woman is either extremely stupid, or she's lying just well enough to fool the people she needs to fool to make a profit.

  • @dbsommers1 What exactly is a militant atheist? Can you name one?

  • try again. Look up oppression and it can take many forms other than the ones you stated. Freedom from religion is not the same thing as freedom of religion, which, honestly is what these militant atheists are after (I'm a non militant atheist myself, who doesn't give a damn who believes what, and don't ridicule people for it). 15 love, your serve.

  • @dbsommers1 That was done at the barrel of a gun. That's not happening in America. No minority is oppressing Christians by force, no rights have been taken away from Christians, not one, nada, zero. Christians are not segregated, or classified as less than human, they are not jailed without charge, they are not tortured, nor murdered by the government, they are not denied the right to vote, or protest. My God. I really need to explain this to you? Ooofa! Dumb as mud, you are.

  • @matprithellodave Would that be because all 'intelligent' people believe in the same thing? Which world would that be, because it isn't this one. Intelligent people disagree with one another about things all the time and...oh, wait, your definition of intelligent would be people that agree with you, and those that don't... aren't. Gotcha. Elitist much, BTW?

  • @JosephCa64 Umm, sure you can. Try this one: Apartheid. South Africa. This century. Yes, a minority can oppress a majority. I'm assuming this either slipped your mind (this happens to me as well) or you're a product of our crap public education system and had no knowledge of it in the first place.

  • @DIYcomedy123 But then, who/what made the Big Bang? What started everything? How do you know it wasn't all an experiment by something that is powerful enough to create a big bang and decide what the rules are from the universe that is created? We don't remotely know enough to say with absolute certainty one way or the other. That's why you need to be open minded rather than intolerant.

  • @SteinUndStahl666 People believe in government, and there is no bigger imaginary friend than that. ^_^ And as I stated above, we still don't remotely understand everything, so there's plenty of wiggle room on whether or not there is a god, or some being so powerful it might as well be one. Hell, you can't even prove your brain isn't in a jar somewhere with a bunch of wires hooked up to it and all of this is someone's experiment to see how you'll react to certain stimulus.

  • @dbsommers1 We haven't come remotely close to understanding everything, so no one can definitively say who is right. So forcing others to see things your way when you don't really know is, well, intolerant. And yes, those that believe in god can be just as bad as those that don't.

  • @SteinUndStahl666 Except if there is an almighty being, it decides what constitutes reality is and chooses whether or not you can sense it or not. Or it remains beyond our ability/technology to perceive. Microbes existed since the dawn of man, but until several hundred years ago no one had the means to know they were there. Just because you can't perceive something doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
