I used to eat them raw as a kid when I'd go fishing for mackerel with my father. They are also nice poached in a little vinegar and oil or even lemon and oil. Razor clams are 100 times better and so easy to harvest. You should make a video of razor clam harvesting Sean.

Limpets are grazers. They are not snails but do a similar job. These taste great though.

You can use any pointed object to prise them off the rocks. I had explained I already had enough for what I wanted and only showed my stick to offer an alterantive method for removing them.
