I remember that year, that was a very good Kansas team. Colorado and Kansas State were really good too, but obviously Nebraska was the best that year. I miss the Big Eight, and I miss Max.

Max gave 60 years to the Jayhawks and called games that players like Wilt Chamberlain, JoJo White, Danny Manning, Paul Pierce, Kirk Hinrich, Gale Sayers, John Riggins, Nolan Cromwell and Dana Stubblefield were involved in.
He called numerous bowl games and a few NCAA championship games.
He deserves respect even from turds like you.
