Its not blind faith that's takes away one's fear of death its a moment of being amazed by God's devotion, seeing his plan play out in ways you wouldn't even think to dream, being carried through your lowest moment and feeling like he has weeped with you. It's then that you realize this beautiful world pales in comparison to what it will be to feel God's closeness even stronger.

Cherish the time in this world but look forward to the next. That is what this song is about.

God has prepared a life for us after this one that is not only without pain, sorrow, disappointment, rejection, sickness, (v. Rev.21:4 "he will wipe away every tear from their eyes and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.") but also although this life lasts for 100 years or less the next will last for one hundred one hundreds and more. Why can't we see this is exactly what is wrong with blind faith? Life? earth? Human interaction? It all pales in comparison to an invisible deity written about in a book no one's (publicly) changed for a thousand years. To claim that this life is horrible, & that only after we're dead do we get to go "home" & be truly happy. It's sick. To further claim that God is the only one who is truly there for you, when He can't do anything without His followers doing it for Him. We all know this is bunk.

I just realized that you CAN'T live without Jesus Christ.I have really come to realize this through this song. This is not where we belong.We belong where Jesus waits for us. If you call yourself a christian,Are you really? Do you trust Jesus with your life? Will you give him anything.This is not where you belong if you are a true servant of Him.All i need is Jesus.If you haven't already,Ask him to be lord of your life. As ready as I am to go Home, I have so much work left to do here on earth. I'm ready when He's ready and patiently await the day that I step into eternity with the LOVE OF MY LIFE! When the pain and sadness will one day no longer be an obstacle, my 70+ years (if that) here are nothing and if every day from here on out has to be filled with trials and tribulations...well, Jesus bring the rain.
