25 hours of Awareness of charitable giving opportunities in both our local and global communities The event is both a public awareness campaign and fundraiser for Florida Blood Services, LifeLink Foundation, Red Cross-Haiti Relief, and orphanage relief at the Casa Hogar Esperanza Orphanage in Mexico. Five elite athletes from the Tampa Bay Florida area will attempt to break the world record for the longest weight training workout ever by training continually for over 25 hours. The current world record is held by a group of athletes from the Netherlands who on May 6th through May 7th, 2006 weight trained for 24 hours and 55 minutes. The five athletes are: Brandie Gardner, International Federation of Bodybuilding Professional Figure champion and model. Dominic DAgostino, University of South Florida, College of Medicine, Assistant Professor, and Mr. Team Universe competitor, Elaine Feldman, Certified Personal Trainer, multi-title bodybuilding/figure champion and Guinness Book of World Record Holder for the longest jump rope workout ever, Andrea Irick, Certified Personal Trainer, Ms. Tampa Bay Figure Champion, and Tom Toy, National Physique Committee State Judge and former Mr. Florida. The athletes will be accompanied by a support team consisting of a physician, nutritionist, massage therapist, and world renowned trainer Tim Gardner
