  • China is lying through its teeth. Chinese have limited access to the Internet. I communicated with many Chinese bloggers, and when I send them links, they can't access them. China is worse than the Manchu Qing Emperor. The Qing Emperor was holding China back for its own ignorance. The Chinese government is holding its citizens back for its own fears, fears that its citizens might become better informed and become more intelligent. 聪明=intelligent=ears can hear and eyes can see.

  • If enough companies stonewall against the Chinese government, either China will withdraw themselves from of the modern business game or they will have to concede and forgo their internet censorship laws. And since they love money so much...

  • @TheMediator888 "the west" errm ok??

  • You can be shot and have your family charged for the bullet if you dare speak out against the Chinese government. Human rights have taken a turn for the worse there. I strongly urge all Chinese people here to not go against your regime for your own safety! Americans, Europeans, and free-world citizens can attack your government verbally; but don't put yourself in danger by speaking out, please allow us to. Youtube may be blocked soon anyway, but be careful- they're monitoring your youtube now.

  • Just so everyone knows. Twelve of the top 100 visited Global sites in the world are blocked in China. They block any website that even slightly hints at a perspective differing from the government. Keywords are also blocked, such as "democracy" "human rights" "dictatorship", etc.... You get the idea. It's so sad.

  • I think a multi-party democratic china would benefit the entire world and is a more plausible way to bring about the peaceful reunification of taiwan. they might be willing if the CCP doesnt seek domestic hegemony.

  • Quote: "Chinese search engines monitor content by keyword and remove offending Web sites. When people request banned content (for example: Revolution, Democracy, STD, Human rights) through Chinese search engines like Baidu and Yisou, the filtering system disconnects them." - Alex Chitu at Googlesystem

  • Funny how we fought against chinese internet censorship until elections were over and now we start censoring our own.

  • China is considering to award Julian Assange " World Peace Prize" since he dared to expose secrets of all dirty tricks used by USA and the west. However, too bad that he had lost his freedom and charged by the west that he had been making love with 2 ladies without using condoms and framed to be persecuted him seriously as raping ladies.
