The theme and the speakers are the product of much prayer and discernment by a committee of men and women gathered together in Eucharistic adoration under the spiritual direction of Fr. Cathal Price.
The theme of the first conference in 1980, was Mercy Our Mission

In 2009, Fr Patrice Chocholski was invited as General Secretary for the World Apostolic Congress on Mercy headed by His Eminence Christoph Cardinal Schonborn and a Committee of Patronage of Cardinals. (Upcoming World Congress in 2011)
