@iluvcarlyjacks Isn't that hysterical??? Like what happened? All the sudden her acting wasn't up to par or what? Yah I would choose Dee anyday ovah La Lucci. I've seen a few of her scenes, and couldn't stomach it, so I never became an AMC fan. In a way, I feel bad that Dee never won an Emmy, and yet on the other hand, I'm cool with it as long as she is cool with it, and I think she is :)

@juliamaxwell31 ........got the Emmy was because they felt bad for her. I'm sorry but she gets nominated like 19 times and never gets it, what does that say about Susan Lucci? And you noticed that once she got the Emmy she was NEVER nominated again? Su-spic-ous..... (LOL)

@iluvcarlyjacks Oh I totally agree! I mean I respect her character because I'm a AMC fan and I understand why her character is so iconic (for the most part) but if I had to choose between who was the best soap heroine of all time, I'd choose Marlena any day of the week. Excuse my language but Marlena Evans has been through some of the craziest s**t ever on daytime television and Dee plays it with such elegance and rawness all wrapped in one. Besides, I think the only reason Lucci FINALLY.......

@iluvcarlyjacks She's overrated in my opinion. Nominated for 19 years? Gimme a break...She never deserved any of them, but her network had the most soaps, so they got the most votes. In truth, there were many actors who deserved that nom besides her all those years (including Dee), but like I said before, they aren't going to get the nom so why even try?

Wow Dee is amazing, she doesn't even have to speak and I feel her pain by just looking in her eyes! Why hasn't she ever received an Emmy?! This is exactly why fans should pick the winners because nobody knows characters better than the fans!

@iluvcarlyjacks Uhm she never won an emmy because the winners are chosen by the soap actors, and of course you are going to choose someone from your own network ya know? The other reason was Dee took her name out of the running for many years. NBC didn't have as many soaps as the other networks, and none of them ever got nominated, so I think she just thought it was a lost cause anyways.
