Chance Encounter IV: Legacy of the Third Age (trailer)

Balian of Ibelin returns to his homeland of France after an absence of ten years with his young son, and he inherits his uncle's fief.

Cardinal Ambrosius de Magio finds an old manuscript in the bowels of the Papal palace, outlining the strange account of a Roman soldier who claims to have been to a place where elves and wizards and all sorts of odd beings roamed the land. In his writings, the chronicler mentions jewels of unimaginable power, and his suspicion that one such artefact is now in the heartland of Germany.

The Cardinal knows that Balian has been somewhere odd, and he is determined to find out what it is that the baron truly knows.

Together with his friends from the other worlds, Balian must fight the power of the Church and the ambitious Cardinal to secure the safety of the people he loves and a treasure which has been lost in time.
