Well for me the old trance has an underground sound to it.

And most of the new trance has a comercial sound to it.

Old trance generally for me has a pure trance hook line in the bass like this tune.

New trance has much less of a hook line, stupidly long build ups, and way to many vocals over the top of everything.

Kaycee- Escape. That came out after 96 and that was a classic trance track. There was lots of good trance around after 96. You just needed to know where to look or listen. Sadly some muppets took the more commercial elements of the music and expanded on them and made that shitty Euro trance that strangely proved so popular. Those that did like it knew nothing about true trance.

I'm 26 years old, and I was just a fraction to late fore this scene..

the new trance I can't listen to it longer then 10 songs, especially the newer kind of clubbing, can't stand it for 1 minute.

But now I'm listening to all of these old school music, trance, dance, house, etc. on youtube.

I started this afternoon at 13:00 and I'm still listening! and now it is 03:19 in the morning, still not tired :D
