Hip hop has become a culture of crime, money, sex, and hate. There are some who bring a radically different message to the inner city. A message of peace, hope, and love. This message comes in a style similar to the Secular Rap that endorses the indulgence of vices. For this reason many reject the effectiveness of Christian Rap. This documentary explores this idea. You will hear from Christian Rap artists, a college music professor, and a psychologist as they discuss the issues of the inner city, secular rap music, the power of music on a persons mind, and the effectiveness of Christian Rap.

My role: producer, director, editor, camera, audio, lighting, scripting

Equipment Used: JVC DV500, Lowell light kits

Other credits: John Shaw-camera, script; Nathan Gruen-camera, public relations; Jared Theuneman-camera; Richard Brewer-camera

  • Not just the inner city but all societies ,suburbs, country, farms you name it ! Satan does not discriminate . That is why Jesus came into and LOVED the WHOLE world.

  • Caribean Roots!! Plz, I don't think so

  • @catchyou1000 Your absolutely correct!

Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don't believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don't understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God!

    2 Corinthians 4:4

....The time has come, and the kingdom of God is near. Change the way you think and act, and believe the Good News.

    Mark 1:15

  • If u want to know HipHop culture look up krs one interviews on HipHop this what u saw is mainstream rap not the HipHop culture

  • this is bs.

  • 100% correct!

  • Agreed. But Christian rap was the focus of this documentary, hence the focus on hip hop. It was made to disrupt the thinking of suburban traditional churches and introduce them to a radically different movement than they're used to. Thanks for your comment! We're on the same page. :)
