Time charter gets over looked when it comes to great horses but she's better than Oh So Sharp in my opinion

@kelletman Time Charter was one of the all time greats, King George winner, broke the record for time for the Oaks, destroyed the field in the Dubai Champion, toyed with Sun Princess who won the Oaks by a record 12L, on her day Time Charter had a turn of foot second to none, she was also champion British Filly & Mare for 3 consecutive years, top class broodmare, including Guineas and oaks winners, even the unbeaten 2 year old Best Terms is from her family, some people will scoff at anything

I think one of the things that makes a horse 'great' is the ability to win over different distances. They have to produce their accelerations at different moments. My only fear about her in the '82 Arc was that it was very soft, and it was the usual traffic nightmare. She didn't quite run up to her best in the '83 race: but there are plenty of Arc winners worse than her. And owned and trained by proper racing people: so much to like.

What a great race!! didnt this go down as the 75th Best horse racing moment in British horse racing history?? i read it in the racing post couple years ago
-
She won the Sun Chariot Stakes the day before the '82 Arc. What a pity she hadn't run in the Arc instead! Second in the Guineas, fast winner of Oaks but she was at her brilliant best that year in October.

I just worked it out,it's Raleigh Gilbert to start with then Grahame Goode takes over in the closing stages
-
Who is this commentating,I know it isn't Grahame Goode

Time Charter 6 to 8 lengths clear in as many seconds, how fast was that. I remember the day she raced against Sun Prinsess and won the race without breaking sweat, won the oaks, kIng George so many more, champion filly for 3 years, top class broodmare.
Oh and which Grand National (I presume) was that? Can we expect it next ...?
