An Examination of the "Day of Truth" - (SECOND EDITION)

Truth Wins Out examines Alliance Defense Fund's anti-gay response to the "Day of Silence" which ADF calls the "Day of Truth." This video reveals how the "Day of Truth" is nothing more than an excuse for the religious right to push "ex-gay" conversion programs on gay youth.

Here in the second edition a prologue has been added which briefly explains what has changed since this video was originally created.

"Ex-gay" conversion camps are the moral and ethical equivalent of concentration camps for gay people. I cannot believe that in 2008 in America, we have these well-funded drooling hicks using current technology to spread hate in public schools.

The day of silence did not provide money. Silence came from the supporters. Day of Truth was heavily funded by conservative Christian "non-profit" organizations that are voluntarily funded by the Republican government coming straight from the taxpayers.

Actually, he is ponting out his INTERPRETATION of a handful of Biblical verses. Many other good, devout, humble, dedicated and prayerful Christians come to different coclusions from those same verses. You hve no objective method of proving that your interpretation is any better than theirs.

Lesbianism seems to have different dynamics than male homosexuality. Some women's orientation has been observed to change in different periods of their lives. This does not, however, mean that the change is the result of CHOICE. A person does not choose their sexual orientation. It is what it is, whatever the cause. A person only has choice over whether or not to act on their natural attractions.

Im SOOOOO thankful I dont live in USA. I would have gone on a kill rampage against these fucking bible humpers if i ever came across them. They are so fucking retarded. It's genetic, my dear. I don't think anyone would choose hate and prejudice, do you? I tried so hard to be straight when I was a little kid that it makes me sad on reflection. The Day of Truth is meant to target and hurt kids would are ALREADY insecure (as I was). Don't think it has anything to do with 'love' or 'truth', if has to do with the self-hatred of your leaders.
