  • Thanks for posting this. I foolishly sold my Mott the Hoople vinyl years ago but can now find these songs on Youtube. Allmusic give this lp 2 stars. Complete BS, it's a great album with great rockers and some of Ian's best ballads. In general, critics, including Allmusic, recognize the significance and greatness of Mott the Hoople, just the general public didn't catch on, unfortunately most people like brainless unchallenging music.

  • My favorite Mott song. This and The Jungle. Rock On Ian and Mott!!!!

  • l gota agreee with all the message so far - Mott, the most underrated band, and just bloddy A, I too saw Ian last October, phenonmenal!! Can't get enough of this track, or this album!

  • I bought this album when it came out. Absolutely loved it. I just downloaded it onto my Ipod a few weeks ago and it's as fresh now as when it first debuted. This is one of the most underrated bands ever. It's nice to hear something which stands the test of time so well.

  • Couldnt agree more with the comments of the last poster, I too am a life long fan of this unique and wonderful band. Had the priviledge to see ian Hunter and the Rant band last Octobe he isr at the ripe old age of 71 phenomenal and an inspiration to those of us with a young mind trapped in an ever deteriorating body.

  • 555 views, should be 555 million! 3 perfect comments below, nice to see there is still respect for this GREAT band and GREAT album...at 62 years old I still play it to death...and there is not a finer version of Sweet Jane that Motts.....Mott is a passion!

  • Brilliant then, now and for ever

  • great album

  • Love this song.
