  • Quite ridiculous, A Englishman read by an american, it leaves a sour taste in my mouth... It just sounds wrong, vaguely amusing, but wrong...

  • This is so convenient, thanks a lot, great channel! Please, keep them coming!

  • This is a great ! Thank you.

  • @CCProse Hey, you put in a great deal of time and effort and took a chance on how it would be received by the YouTube community. Admittedly, while the number of views is (by YouTube standards) comparatively low (so far) I think you succeeded in your goal. You should be proud.

  • @danvonranger Thanks for your comments. When we first started this project, we were much more skeptical than you. We weren't really sure what it was, but figured we would throw it out there and see what happened. While in many ways it is nothing fantastic, it has turned out to be many things to many people: people who love literature, kids who hate reading, people with reading disabilities, and those learning English. We are pleased that it has proven to have value. Thanks again.

  • @AtticusStount I suppose where it may lack in atmosphere (compared to, say, the originals) it makes up for in other ways; educational maybe, helping people with their reading skills, or simply being read to can be pleasant. Thanks for your reply.

  • @danvonranger and indeed, the Complete Sherlock Holmes audio is far better as the reader really acts each of the parts. I do however think this is really convenient, and it's pleasant to see each piece of text on the screen. So, I'll give a thumbs up.

  • Just fantastic!! Whole audio book and with German subtitles (I am German). Great to learning english. Thank You!

  • I dont' get it. Visually this offers very little, if anything. As for reading it out, the originals are freely available for download. Maybe I'm missing something? Still, you appear to have the vote of three people, so I guess it was worth while.

  • 68,000 views in just 3 months ............. this shows the greatness of the video book

I thank you, sir, for uploading these videos
