this kate person is making a bad name for women... so clean it's not even funny. it's not schenn's fault that vermette has his head down and is puck watching. listen at 0:39 "catches vermette with his head down" in hockey, if you don't protect yourself, you're dead. even the announcers agree that it was a good strong hit. no penalty called on the play and no one on ottawa came after him. you know why? because it wasn't dirty or cheap.

@katem32 this video was posted in nov 2008. there was no rules on blindside hits. and even if this was a hit from this year, it is not a blindside hit and it is not charging. you seem to not understand how hitting in hockey works. You don't have to go for the puck just because you can. if an opponent touches the puck you can hit him. please don't share any more of your ignorance. honestly, you are terribly wrong on this one.
