Crew and contractors taking part in the '3 question interview' - Mid-Atlantic, June 2005. Second in a series of video clips from my time working on the final fit-out of the Pride of America - in no particular chronoligical order.....
I was on pride of America for the atlantic crossing and met some very interesting people. However, the guy that is interviewed @ 6:39min was one of my roommates and he stayed up untill all hours of the nigtht with his hawaiian bruddas in our room drinking wine and smoking weed. :( I DO NOT MISS working on the ship because the pay was SHIT and the hours were rediculous when coupled with working a mandatory 7 day work week. Hey Brandi and Adrian!!!! from michigan .....
Wow-- this is so great. I miss my days on NCL's Pride of Aloha and Pride of America so much... seeing all these familiar faces brings back the greatest memories! Now I'm going to have to watch all of the segments!!! Love all of my past shipmates!!!
i am suppose to work on 1 just asking a couple questions. what kind of food are u talking about exactly?? and how do the supervisors treat the workers. did they have any crew parties onboard?? how many people shared a cabin?
Holy shit! I worked on this ship during this time and I remember all these people!

1) starchy food mostly while i was on...we got the left overs from the buffets....
2) supervisors stand around doing nothing, yell at you to work faster... are nit picky about everything..
3) there is a crew bar.... cant get drunk or you get the equivilant to a DUI
your allowed 1-2 beers.( i always went over lol)
4) officers have thier own cabin.
regular crew share room
three people.... three small cabnets
(one bunk bed one queen.)

when i wasnt working ? yea it was ok..
inbetween the sewage spills and unsanitary food
best part i enjoyed was sitting on the deck while going through the carribean on the way to costa rica... and watching the thunderstorms every night.
the "officers" are a pile of shit ( except the bridge and engine room)
but ya the ship is chill... would never pay to cruise on it though... lol fuck ncl
