  • Just so you know, the fox isn't scared--he's respectful. The fox recognizes the human as the "alpha" ( a common canine and feline pack mentality ) and is showing both respect and affection. We're the fox scared, the tail would be straight up, and not moving, not swaying by it's legs. The noises they make for fear are also a bit different then the whimpery sounds it was making. Over all, yes, this was a very innocent, cute video of a domesticated fox that is NOT being abused in any way.

  • I saw a wild fox once in my neighborhood I thought it was a tiny red dog until i was up close to see what it was. To my surprise it was a fox we played the staring game.... I was like holy crap I have never been that close to a fox.

  • @SMILESZ2 I bet he must have thought "Holy crap, I've never been that close to a human before. "

  • lol That is a happy fox. :]

  • @Choatemister Foxes aren't dangerous anyway... Unless you're a rabbit or a chicken!

  • in ontario these little guys are everywhere, they are very timid and about as harmful or dangerous is a dog or cat very nice fox

  • This is proof that a wild animal is not dangerous all the time

  • @FeralTyneMan Well, they have the same roots - dogs, foxes and wolves of today. So they all share the same instinct. But pack or not, I think it's true that all canines show their trust by laying down like this, in a non-aggressive pose.

  • You're just so irresponsible! It's the 3-rd cute-o-meter I break this week cause of such videos, and have you any ideas how much it's cost?! A lot, that's how! But... awww, I just can't be angry looking at this muzzle ^__^ *foxy scratching* Awwwww! ^.^ Oh... Oh gosh, here we go again, it's broken ;)
