Making friends with a new organ...

Most church organists will probably agree that they are very familiar with the instruments they play, and in some cases the console can become as comfortable as a glove....
The digital console for our new organ arrived this past wednesday. It was partially playable on Thursday afternoon, and finally finished and voiced Friday.
I have to play it this coming Sunday morning 8/23. This is my 2nd time playing it, and guessing at registrations and such.
The hymn is "May We Thy Precepts Lord Fulfill" LSB 697 I think. About 1/2 way through the 2nd verse I mess up because I was looking at stops and not paying attention to notes.
Initial impression of the Rodgers console: very comfortable, and the action and keys feel great!

Is there a pipe organ and digital organ? Or is it digital only? Either way, it sounds good.

Its going to be both pipe and digital. The pipes are all installed now, just needing to be tuned and voiced.

Very nice, the new organ sounds great, so nice to see it is finally finished.
