@NinjaLlamaFilms hard to find one though in a small area but if you live in ny or whatever and look carefully then yes I guess you could find one but it's rather annoying living in a country dominated by MMA KMA and karate it really doesn't give us much of a choice since commercial schools are more common

2 handed sword came to the Mantis styles with Master Hao Heng Lu, who created "Ba xian jian" and "Damo jian" in Mantis family in the middle of 40th.
This form you can study in Beijing from Ma Weijing laoshi or in Hamden US from Ilya Profatilov.

The fact is there are many style, each with their own merits.

Wushu swords that are used in competitions and public demos are not real weapons. Real swords are much heavier and require more skill in order to handle them.
