We constructed some water impulse charges and some sillouhette charges and placed it on a building we put up to to see how effective they are as means of breaching.

  • wasn't just one WIC or flex linear. it was multiple charges on one building because we only constructed one building for our demolition range.

  • a WIC is the two IV bags, some det cord, blah blahblah, and by silhouette charge i think they mean flex linear charge, both of which are painfully easy to make, but definately wouldnt make that big of an explosion

  • Where was this Ft Leonard Wood? I used a lot of explosives but am not trained as a combat engineer. By water impulse charges do you mean the monroe effect mayonayse jar looking things? Or do you just mean you put the charge with am IV bag to make the charge go one way? What is a siloette charge?

  • Big explosion for shock effect, minimal damage for usefulness.
