TRIBUTE TO PAUL MICHAEL GLASER

THIS TRIBUTE TO PAUL IS NOT JUST INTENDED FOR HIM AS AN ACTOR,DIRECTOR & WRITER BUT FOR THE MAN HIMSELF.A TIRELESS CAMPAIGNER,WHO HAS RECEIVED A LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD FOR HIS HUMANITARIAN EFFORTS ON BEHALF OF CHILDREN & THE HIV/AIDS VIRUS WORLDWIDE.

HIS OWN FAMILY WAS SO TRAGICALLY AFFECTED BY THE DEADLY VIRUS.HIS WIFE ELIZABETH WHISLT GIVING BIRTH TO THEIR DAUGHTER ARIEL,WAS GIVEN A BLOOD TRANSFUSION WHICH WAS TAINTED WITH THE DEADLY VIRUS.IT WAS NOT UNTIL SHE HAD GIVEN BIRTH TO THEIR SECOND CHILD,A SON,JAKE,THAT THIS WAS DIAGNOSED BY WHICH TIME SHE HAD UNKNOWINGLY PASSED THE VIRUS ONTO HER CHILDREN.

SADLY AT THE TENDER AGE OF 7 ARIEL SUCCUMMED TO THE DEADLY DISEASE.ELIZABTH BECAME A TIRELESS CAMPAIGNER & WAS CO- FOUNDER OF THE PEDIATRIC AIDS FOUNDATION,WHICH WAS LATER RE-NAMED IN HER MEMORY.

ELIZABETH HERSELF SADLY PASSED AWAY ON THE 03/12/1994 AT JUST AGED 47.

THIS VIDEO WAS MADE WITH ONLY LOVE & RESPECT INTENDED & I HOPE THAT IT WILL VIEWED WITH THOSE THOUGHTS IN MIND.

Such a beautiful tribute to a wonderful man ,and an awesome family....he`s endured alot of tradgedy in his lifetime...this award is well justified...

(Can u tell me who the dark haired little one with paul is please??I know it`s a later pic ,so not Ariel or jake....thanks)..

Very well put together my friend ,and the song is very apt...having read Elizabeth Glasers` book , during the sad days of Ariels` illness ,it made me cry.....I know she would be very proud of her wonderful husband....x

@mumof3girls09 Thank you for your very kind comments. I'm not sure who the little girl is, I think it could be his daughter from his second marriage, which I believe has sadly ended in divorce. I like to think, that if Elizabeth and Ariel had survived that they would still be together as a family after all they had gone through together because as we know sometimes in the face of adversity, it can make the bond stronger.

@redhotmountie yes i think it is...He married Tracey barone (I googled!LOL) in 1996 ,and they had a daughter Zoe ,born october 1997.Their marriage lasted 10 yrs.

I definately think ,from reading and listening to interviews ,that Elizabeth was the love of his life and also think ,had she lived ,that they`d still be together..\such a tragic loss for Paul i can`t imagine how you overcome anything so devastating.

Have u ever read Elizabeths` autobiography ,written during Ariels` illness? So sad.

He used to be my hero and my knight when I was a young girl!!! And now he still is...!!! He´s a restless warioir and a Wonderful human being!!!!!! Wish him the best!!!!
