How to add new fonts/text to your computer.

This tutorial will show you how to add new fonts to the Gimp or any other photo manipulation program that you use, which will allow you to spruce up whatever it is that you are creating. It's pretty simple and I'm sure you all will get the hang of it pretty quickly.
Steps;
1. Open up your Internet browser.
2. Go to a font website such as Dafont.com
3. Browse through the fonts and find a font that you really enjoy.
4. Download the font.
5. Open up the download location, then extract the file using a program like Winrar.
6. From your bottom menu on the left, click Start then go to the Control Panel. If you have Vista go to wherever your Control Panel is located.
7. Double click the Fonts folder to open it.
8. Drag the font file that you just download into the Fonts folder and it will install and save.
9. Close the windows and open up the Gimp, or whatever other program you are using text in.
10. Now you're set. Test out your newly downloaded font in the Gimp.
