my cousin is a mason, i dont know what level he is but i know its quite high. im intrigued by what they value, its like any organisation, be it religeous, a fraternity, political group, even the mob! there is always a goal to be obtained.... what is the goal of freemasonry? p.s, i mean no disrespect comparing with the mob... just trying to understand! any answers (genuine)will be humbly accepted

How does VVV = 666? The Roman numeral for 6 is VI, not V. I might suggest you look for symbols which actually hold a meaning to other people: The Square of Masonry, refers to living honestly. "I strive to live with love and care, upon the level and by the square" (written by a Mason in 1507)

@CL121076 No masonic lodge worship the sun, the moon and the star. Egyptian mythology was not dwelt in the first 3 degrees, the 3rd degree being the sublime degree. Rather, in architecture the masons look up to the Greeks rather than the Romans. You read more of masonic literature so you don't remain naive.
