Iraq War Hero and Jacksonville, Florida Naval Pilot Scott Speicher remains returned to Jacksonville for burial. Greeted by thousands of well-wishers paying respect and honor guards of hundreds of Firefighters and Police Officials, both Florida Governor Charlie Crist and Jacksonville Mayor John Peyton spoke kindly of Scott as his flag-draped casket was delivered to the Jacksonville Memorial Wall. Many other city dignitaries joined in remembering the Jacksonville native shot down early in the Iraq War.

Video taken by Jacksonville Observer Special Section Reporter Joseph E. Miller

Jacksonville Fire Department Special Operations Team and their commander Chief Lundy pay respect as the motorcade passes.
