I have a major in recording, there is auto tune on those vocals. This shit sucks. Not really what I was expecting since they are "categorized in the same genre" as amazing bands like At the Drive In or Fugazi. Just goes to show that genres can't be relied on to define what you like, there is great music and crap music in every genre.

Is no-one else bothered by the fucking voice-tune on the vocals??? Even if it's being used more as an effect than for its true purpose, it's fucking annoying - I thought I could at least turn to Glassjaw to get away from all the fucking voice tune found on every R 'n' B tune the last couple of years!!!!

@25souls You must be completely tone def if you think he used auto tune on this album at all, the entire chorus of this song is sung on a flat note. Daryl must have done it on purpose because the rest of the EP is sung in key..I just watched them at el rey and at glasshouse 2 shows back to back and they were amazing. Ive been listening to this EP since friday night and cant stop. Oh and there is a HUGE difference between pitch correction and the actual effect "auto-tune"

@briel first off lulz @ "I have a major in recording".....and second, you obviously don't know what double tracking/layering is....which is what is being used in certain parts of the vocals on this track...and is NOTHING like lil wayne/T-pain etc.. auto-tune.

@briel I'm actually a super big fan of At The Drive-In but don't be so narrow minded bro. Check out the old school GlassJaw stuff. That's why they are put in as "post-hardcore" just like At The Drive-in and Fugazi.

@jb4life these lyrics have nothing to do with him cutting himself, his parents hating, etc.. It blows my mind when people reference "emo" when listening to songs like this. If you don't listen to music to let emotion take you in then you're just not listening, nor do you understand the art the is music. Go watch some guys sweat on each other or something tough guy
