nato countries are bankrupt.. no crushing. The oilfields will burn and the economies will collapse and the anti-nato proxies will be activated.

China and India will not appreciate the higher oil price and they will involve themselves in this conflict.

  • @IranSepahbod we will crush you

  • should be, "they were trying to put a stick up his behind"

Like I said, he was no Angel, but there are FAR worse dictators in the world ... look at the US allies the Saudi royals .. how much of their oil gains are they giving to their people? He may have been a crazy dictator, but his son was educated in the west and wanted a DEMOCRACY, he would have taken the reign after his father and created one. Instead he died brutally

  • Gaddafi did not deserve such a death. They were trying to stick up his behind for Gods sake, and then went on to lynch him to death Gaddafi's Lybia. Free housing for every couple that wished to marry. Universal wealth fare. Free medical care. Free education. Unconditional scholarship for education in a foreign country. In a country in which a full gas tank costs 0.50 dollar cents, he gave 700 dollar wages to students! Did I mention NO TAX? 80% of the oil gains went straight to the people!
  • Iran actually fights many Islamic terror movement while the so called friends of the US the Saudis sponsor them, ps. they pretty much own msnbc cnn, fox etc.... the only people benefiting from a US invasion in Iran are Israel and the Saudi Royals..

Gaddafi in a speech (in fornt of the Arab league) predicted that all of them could be hanged like Saddam by the US and look what happened to him. He was no angel, but he was 100 times better then the people now replacing him!

  • Anyway, we finally have our economy and debt under control, are rapidly growing despite Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya and Syria. We can't have a major blow like that. Iran is a neighbor and trade partner. If they get attacked/invaded terrorism will rise in the west and also effect Turkey giving free movement to PKK terrorists.

Once again, I dislike Iran and especially their regime but will attacking them killing millions do any good? No, but let's be honest, it's in "Israels" best interests. Not USA

  • Do not underestimate Iran ... They can assemble an army of a million religious fanatics. Have decent tech and good missiles. It will further harm the regional economy in all ways possible. It will harm our economy (Turkey) which is one of the reasons we do not want a war with Iran. Our economy is already hurt because of Iraq and Afghanistan! And now Libya and Syria. If the US did not attack those countries, our economy would be in an even better situation then it already is right now.

  • What worries me is that the USA and Israel are provoking Iran for no real reason, they recently assassinated another Iranian scientist (again...). In a stupid way lost very valuable tech (uav drone) to Iran. Iran will reversed engineer it, Iran: "Thanks for the free tech uncle Sam!"

I dislike Iran and their regime. But what will another US occupation achieve? Not to mention, you won't enter Iran as easy as you've entered Iraq and Afghanistan ...

  • Note that Ahmedinejad immediately held a press release saying they would never attack Turkey and that the Iranian general was making his own assumptions and talked about his opinions and in no way represented the official Iranian state attitude towards Turkey.

It surprises me, because from a regime like the Iranian one I would expect a more aggressive behavior .. but they know Turkey's importance to their economy and the Turkish armed forces are far superior.
