hes right notre dame had a weaker schedule then florida or oklahoma or texas that year and im pretty sure they lost to some below average teams, while the other three teams were playing more ranked opponents. Tebow, bradford or mccoy deserved that award to for playing at a higher level against better teams, period, if you argue with that your licking Notre Dame's metaphorical asshole, period.
