Do you have crooked toes? If you have toes that look like little hammers or claws, then you have hammer toes. You could have one of a few different kinds of hammer toes. Flexible hammer toes look normal but curl when running and jumping. You may notice irritation on the tops of your toes from rubbing your shoes. Semi-rigid and rigid hammer toes appear to be stuck in a bent position. Surgery is the only way to fix this. Over a period of time, your toes have curled as they try to stabilize your feet while youre walking. If they fall into the rigid category, then they are stuck this way unless we perform an operation. A simple procedure can get your toes back to normal in no time. Well find the root of the problem to make sure it does not reoccur. Call us at 817-416-6155 to make an appointment.
