Battlefield 3 MG36 Review Beasty Weapon

I am still having the same glitch everyone is talking about. I have managed to get some decent gameplay with it working as it should. This LMG has a 750rpm fire rate and is very accurate with a grip. I think this weapon is a better all around gun over the M60. I offer some tips and tricks with this gun in the support class loadout.

@Blackopsisntgreat Generally speaking you are correct. There are a few exceptions. If the silencer uses "wipes" it greatly reduces accuracy and velocity. A silencer that telescopes over the barrel and applies tension can make the rifle MORE accurate.

Because a silencer traps gasses for a moment while the bullet passes through, velocity can increase by up to about 1%; an insignificant amount.

@mehelloYO suppressors don't lower velocity. It only lowers velocity when you use subsonic rounds through them. It also does not affect accuracy, unless, again, using subsonic ammunition. Subsonic ammunition is so quiet because upon being fired, it is sub-sonic, or, below the speed of sound so it does not make a supersonic crack (sonic-boom) and when a bullet is subsonic, flight path becomes unpredictable in outside forces like wind and pressures which reduces accuracy.

You're aware that the spread of your weapon will correct itself rapidly if you release the fire button for a sliver of a second? Almost every folly of yours is generated from your relentlessly inaccurate spray.

@picscrazy no they don't. a suppressor lowers the velocity. and makes the gases expand and move slower.

thus making it less accurate

Silencers increase accuracy as well. Silencer + Grip can be very useful.
